The article emphasises that the framework defined by the Ministry of Environment and Energy Security is a first step towards sustainability and clarity in the sector, a highly strategic industry that could be worth up to EUR 15 billion by 2025.

President Sherif Rizkalla is quoted as saying: “However, there are risks associated with the partial implementation of these guidelines. If the processes remain without fixed deadlines or require a rigid sequence of administrative steps, instead of allowing for parallel implementation, there could be slowdowns that discourage investment in Italy.”
