Data Center Day, the first open day dedicated to Data Centers in Lombardy, has successfully concluded. This initiative was created with the aim of bringing young digital natives closer to the world of Data Centers, essential infrastructures for the digital economy. An opportunity to raise awareness of the opportunities that Data Centers offer the local community, including the creation of new jobs and support for economic and social development.
The event involved five Data Centers that joined the initiative: CDLAN, DATA4, Equinix, Retelit, and STACK Infrastructure. Participating student groups took part in guided tours and moments of meeting and discussion.
The official presentation of the first edition of Data Center Day was held at the DATA4 Campus, with the participation of national media and institutions, and under the patronage of the Lombardy Region and the Metropolitan City of Milan.
