IDA at Data Center Nation Milan 2026: a Successful First Participation

IDA – Italian Datacenter Association participated for the first time with its own stand at Data Center Nation Milan 2026, one of the leading events for the digital infrastructure sector in Italy and across Europe.

Now in its fifth edition, the event brought together over 3,300 professionals, operators, investors, and stakeholders from the data center ecosystem, confirming Milan’s strategic role as one of Europe’s key hubs for digital infrastructure growth.

For IDA, this participation represented an important opportunity for exchange and networking with companies, partners, and industry professionals, in a context marked by strong focus on key topics such as sustainability, cloud, artificial intelligence, and data center development.

Throughout the day, numerous visitors stopped by the IDA stand, contributing to the success of this first official presence. There was also strong engagement with “How much do you know?”, the interactive quiz created by IDA to involve the audience through questions about the association and the data center world, with dynamics designed to make the experience even more engaging and participatory.

During the event, Luca Beltramino, President of IDA – Italian Datacenter Association, was also interviewed by TGR Lombardia to discuss the increasingly central role of data centers in the country’s digital development and the sector’s growth outlook in Europe.

IDA’s participation in Data Center Nation reinforces its commitment to fostering dialogue between industry, institutions, and local communities, helping to raise awareness of the strategic value of digital infrastructure for the country’s future.
